The Partners at Applied Underwriters
The managing partner of an independent affiliate has decision making authority over most business matters including underwriting, distribution, reinsurance, and choice of insurer.
We believe that the manager who is both the visionary and on the ground closest to the actual operations can best respond to the needs of our customers, our agents and brokers, as well as our insurance and reinsurance partners.
Applied Underwriters and its operating partners are bound together through a common attitude and approach along with complementary skills and experiences. We offer up our demonstrated ability to lead the industry in risk analysis and underwriting, powered by an entrepreneurial mindset and the strength of large-scale global resources. In return, together with our partners we bring ideas offering value and opportunity. Creating these kinds of partnerships means building a high level of trust that generates sustained profits able to weather the next economic storm. We prove that trust every day to our partners by giving them corporate help when they need it and leaving them alone to thrive when they don’t.
